About Course

This course explores the relationship between yoga and the endocrine system through both scientific understanding and sacred feminine wisdom. Hormones influence every aspect of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Yoga has a unique capacity to support hormonal balance through breath, movement, and mindful awareness. This course empowers teachers to help students—especially women—through the many life transitions governed by the endocrine system, including menstruation, fertility, perimenopause, and menopause.

Course Content

Endocrine Anatomy 101 — Glands, Hormones, and Function
This foundational module introduces the endocrine system as the body's internal communication network. Hormones, produced by various glands, are chemical messengers that regulate vital functions including metabolism, growth, mood, fertility, and energy. For yoga teachers and students, understanding this internal system adds depth to both practice and teaching. In this module, we’ll explore the key glands and hormones, their functions in feedback loops, and how yogic practices can support hormonal harmony from both physiological and subtle perspectives.

This final module honors the unseen aspects of hormonal and feminine health—those that dwell in intuition, rhythm, ritual, and sacred story. By understanding the deep connections between the endocrine system, lunar cycles, seasons, and inner knowing, we can craft yoga classes and personal practices that restore reverence to the body. Integrating yogic mythology, reflective tools, and lifestyle rituals, this module reminds us that hormone health is not just a matter of biology—it is also a matter of spirit and soul.
