About Course

Welcome!
Please join me on this incredible ancient wisdom path in getting to understand your body and your mind in relationship to nature.
Ayurveda, the timeless sister science of yoga, offers a holistic path to balance, vitality, and well-being. In this course, you’ll be guided by a professional Ayurvedic practitioner, step by step, into the foundations of Ayurvedic wisdom. Learn about your unique constitution and how simple daily routines can bring harmony to your busy life.
Through interactive lessons, reflective practices, and your dosha quiz, you’ll discover how the five elemental forces (earth, water, fire, air and space) shape your body and your mind. With accessible language and practical applications, this course makes Ayurveda approachable by everyone–no prior knowledge required!
Together We Will Explore
Lesson 1: What Ayurveda is. Learn the origins, key principles and experience guided observation and visualization practices.
Lesson 2: The Doshas. Understand vata, pitta and kapha as expressions of the elemental forces.
Lesson 3: How the doshas affect your health and well-being. Identify your predominant dosha through a short quiz.
Lesson 4: Simple daily routines for balance and wellness that will pacify the doshas. You will be inspired to try new practices and you will be able to experience, for yourself, how some simple changes in daily routines can aid in the support of your body and your mind.
Lesson 5: How to align with your current life stage and what that means for your overall health.
This course culminates (Lesson 6) with a one hour ZOOM or phone session with Parthena, Ayurvedic Practitioner (recognized by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association), who has helped hundreds of folks on the path to just plain feeling better!
